Productivity and the Early Morning Routine with Hal Elrod
While I’m a little late to the party I recently finished listening to Pat Flyn’s excellent interview with Hal Elrod on the The Smart Passive Income Podcast. Hal Elrod is the author of The Miracle Morning and his entire philosophy centres around increasing productivity, happiness and success. After listening to the podcast and devouring The Miracle Morning in its entirety I’ve been getting up a little earlier and experimenting with the simple morning routine which comprises of Meditation, Reading non-fiction, Affirmations, Visualisation, Journalling and Exercise. While it’s early days I already feel a significant improvement, particularly in terms of positivity and mental health and believe this will be of significant value to those looking for the missing piece in the Paleo lifestyle puzzle. Expect a much longer post on this in the future.

Getting Started With Nerd Fitness: Ready Player One
It must have been at least a couple of years ago I discovered Nerd Fitness. It’s a fitness website that tries to gamify working out and getting fit. Ran by self-proclaimed nerd and fitness extraordinaire, Steve Kamb, it offers all those who join ‘the rebellion’ the chance to ‘level up’. It’s a great deal of fun with geek and game culture references galore. Better still Steve just penned a post for the New Year for those new to Nerd Fitness – there’s never been a better time to head on over there and see what all the fuss is about.
